Bandai Announces New Trading Card Game, Union Arena! Features Bleach, Demon Slayer, Code Geass, Jujutsu Kaisen, MHA, AND More!

I have been long itching for a new anime TCG that is actually good and this is looking like it might be it! Bandai revealed the official website TODAY for its upcoming anime trading card game called Union Arena which will launch on March 24th, 2023. The upcoming anime game will feature cards from series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Hunter x Hunter, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Demon Slayer, The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, Tales of Arise, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, and My Hero Academia.

The upcoming TCG will launch in three initial waves each featuring starter decks, booster packs, and card sleeves. Following that Bandai plans to release a new product every single month.

Wave one will launch on March 24th, 2023, and will feature Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Hunter x Hunter, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Wave two launches April 28th, 2023 and will feature Demon Slayer and The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors.

Wave three arrives May 2023 and has Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Tales of Arise, and That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime.

With the next release in June 2023 already being confirmed to be the release of the My Hero Academia Set it looks like Bandai is truly set to support the game every month. Whether every month will be a new series or existing ones will get more support is yet to be seen, but it seems like they could truly continue to support the already long-running series added forever.

Our first chance to get a look at the game will be at Jump Festa 2023, as we previously reported this is the big event for all things Shonen Jump, the event will have in-person demons as well as a special exhibit for Union Arena.
