The legendary animation studio Studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, The Tale of Princess Kaguya) tweeted out a video teasing a Lucasfilm (Star Wars, Indiana Jones) collaboration. This could mean literally anything, the most obvious is some sort of Star Wars adaptation made by Studio Ghibli, but it could be something completely original.
Of course, this would be the first time a Japanese studio has taken on the Star Wars property as of September 2021 we had the release of Star Wars: Visions on Disney Plus which featured 9 animated shorts all made by famous Japanese studios and creators (Trigger, Prodcution I.G, Geno Studio, and more).
