It’s a good time to be a That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime fan! We previously reported the movie, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slim: Scarlet Bond, hitting theaters on November 25th, and the staff’s plans to bring the film worldwide. Now the movie staff has announced that the television anime will be getting a third season! This was announced during an early screening of the movie this Wednesday in Tokyo, along with the announcement we got a first look in the form of a key visual.

About That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond:
The original author of the light novel series drafted the film’s story. The story focuses on a new country Raja that is located to the west of Tempest. Rimuru and his friends soon learn of a long-running conspiracy about a woman with a mysterious power. Benimaru soon encounters another ogre survivor named Hiiro who used to hold him in high regard..
The film will introduce three new characters into the series, Hiiro an ogre survivor voiced by Yuma Uchida, Towa the aforementioned woman with mysterious powers voiced by Riko Fukumoto, and Lacua a peddler that travels through the realm voiced by Subaru Kimura.
About That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime:
Originally a light novel by Fuse and Mitz Vah, it was adapted into an anime and premiered in October 2018. The story revolves around a normal Japanese salaryman who is murdered and reincarnates in a classic fantasy world with races of all kinds. This salaryman isn’t lucky enough to be reincarnated as an elf, ogre, or anything special, instead, he is reincarnated as a Slime. The story follows this slime’s journey through this new world as he gathers unique powers and allies, and builds a nation of his own.
