Sword Art Online is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special event titled “Sword Art Online -Full Dive-“! The event announced a new RPG video game in the works, showed a newly animated SAO video from A-1 Pictures, and lastly, but most interesting they announced a brand new Sword Art Online movie that’s NOT gonna be part of the currently ongoing progressive series. They only shared a small amount of information, but the movie will be an original story just for the anime movie. The staff described the upcoming film as a story not told in the original work. The announcement ended with a tease of more information at another date.
