Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the series when it releases in January 2023 worldwide except for Asia, unless in the Philippines, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Kenji Muto (BEASTARS storyboarder, Land of Lustrous episode director) is directing TRIGUN STAMPEDE with Kouji Tajima doing the concept designs for the series and its characters.

The original Trigun series was originally serialized in Monthly Shonen Captain magazine from 1995 to 1997 with a continuation of the series, Trigun Maximum, running in Young King Ours magazine in late 1997 and going all the way until 2007. Dark Horse Comics released the manga in English in 2013. The original anime based on the series aired for 26 episodes in 1998 and was released in North America in the year 2000. The series even went on to run on Cartoon Networks Adult Swim programming in 2003. The series returned with an original anime film titled Trigun: Badlands Rumble in April 2010 which followed a story by the original manga creator Nightow and director Satoshi Nishimura.

With sixty billion double dollars on his head, every trigger-happy bounty hunter and psycho is on the hunt for Vash, dead or alive!
