It’s looking like a good time to be a shonen fan! After the nearly identical announcement for Season 6 of My Hero Academia, it seems Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will be following suit! The official website of Jujutsu Kaisen revealed that the second season will run for half a year (two cours) with no breaks in between. This is unusual for most anime these days as it seems the trend has become to take breaks in between to allow the staff to take a break without the need for any fillers.
Season 2 of JJK will adapt the “Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu” and the “Shibuya Incident” arcs, which if you haven’t heard, many readers of the manga view the Shibuya Arc to be the ultimate high point of the series thus far. Along with this new announcement, we also go a new visual tease for the upcoming season, which when combined with the previous one creates a completed visual.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season Two has been announced for a 2023 release date, and that’s all we know so far.
Season One of JJK ended back in March of 2021 and two years later we’re getting the next season. In the time between, we did have the release Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in March of 2022, the prequel film focused on Yuta Okkotsu, a Jujutsu High student who joined in an attempt to control the cursed spirit Rika, his childhood friend who died tragically at a young age.
