We already had the announcement that season 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen Anime series is coming in 2023 thanks to Anime Expo, but now we have our first look at what’s in store for us with the new season. In the brand new teaser visual we see a younger, year 2 version of Sotoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Leiri all in their Jujutu High Uniforms.
This newest season has been highly anticipated since the series ended back in March of 2021 and nearly two years later we’re getting the next season. Of course, we did get Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in March of 2022, the prequel film focused on Yuta Okkotsu, a Jujutsu High student who joined in an attempt to control the cursed spirit Rika, his childhood friend who died tragically at a young age.

Based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, the series follows Yuji Itadori who aside from being abnormally strong, lives a normal high school life. After a classmate is attacked by curses he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna thus taking his curse into his own soul. Now sharing his own body with Sukuna, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School where he will be mentored and guided by the most powerful sorcerer Satoru Gojo.
